I get paid this Friday. I'm now looking for ideas on what to invest on/in.
I talked to my friend who actually is interested in finances and majored in international finance, and he thinks that $100 is not enough to start investing in the stock market. Looks like I'll have to start with some transaction investments. I know a few people who made quite a bit of money from buying electronics and reselling them on ebay. Maybe I'll try that.
I had the idea of buying moon rocks from the space center, and selling them on ebay... sold singly they'll fetch 25, but bought in bulk you can get em for 5 or less...
ReplyDeleteBuy something like iPod Touches on Craigslist and resell them.
ReplyDeleteYeah that's what I was thinking, but then, I don't want to get scammed/be scammed.
ReplyDeleteBe sure to post your results with how much you bought something vs sold it for, what you bought and sold, and what you plan to do in the future. I'm interested.
ReplyDeleteOf course. Still trying to think of different things to do. When I have a list I'll post it and see what people think I should do.
ReplyDeleteI had some luck last summer buying junk from a nearby charity store and reselling it online. I sold an old casio keyboard, some "vintage" clothes, and some other junk. Most of the stuff doubled my money, but mainly because this particular store I used got all their stuff donated free and you could haggle the crap out of them.
ReplyDeleteI usually buy old crap from garage sales and sell them on ebay for double what they are worth. Works great for old and hard to find movies and toys.
ReplyDeleteBen and Bryan, both your suggestions are great! My problem would be deciding what to buy, I'm not too good with finding things that have potential to be sold at a higher price.
